Aran islands on Instagram

It will be an big post where I wanted to gather in one place all Instagram photos that I took during my 4 days vacation on Aran Islands this October. I know that some of you will hate me (hey, Charles), but please bear with me ) I had a great time there and without a doubt will go there again. It was nice to spend more than two days on Inis Mór, I could see the whole island with no rush, watch the sunrise and the sunset from Dún Aonghasa, take photos of the waves and much more. Missing Aran Islands

I can’t wait for the vacation. It will be probably in August when I will take a week off, pack my bag and drive to Doolin (or Galway). Sometimes the waves were that strong that reached the place where I was standing taking those photos – that was a real fun ) Far on the horizon you can see the main land – it’s Connemara, another place I definitely want to go.

More sunset pictures

I took a lot of pictures of the sunset on Aran islands. The sky was changing so fast, that I wanted to capture it all. I wish the wind was not that strong though, I wanted to try the tripod but it was not really possible. You can find more pictures from that Aran islands vacation here.

Heritage office on Aran islands

I wanted to use the filter that makes stars of all sources of light in the picture, and I used the slow exposure. You can see the moon, it was about the same time I took these pictures of it. Also you can see a cat! He is sitting on the doorstep, he was very friendly, totally white with the black back – a hostess in our b&b said, that … Continue reading
