St. Patrick’s day parade in Cork 2012
The weather was remarkably good this morning. The sun was shining, loads of people went out on the streets dressed in green, there were children eveywhere waving Irish flags, farmer’s market was up and running on Grand parade. I just love St.Patrick’s day! [...]-
Evening view over Paris from the Eiffel Tower
The timing was pretty extreme, we decided to climb the Eiffel tower the same day we arrived to Paris, and of course we didn’t buy the tickets in advance, so we almost missed a very beautiful sunset. But we made it! [...] -
Halloween in Cork: street fashion
Last night I took my camera for a walk to take pictures of the Halloween costumes and people partying around. There were so many crazy awesome costumes and wild makeups! I never realized that on Halloween streets of Cork turn into one huge party. [...] -
Germany – Czech Republic car trip 2011
That was an incredible road trip. We got a car in Munich, went to Prague for 2 days, returned to Germany and drove round for 4 days, stayed in small hotels and tried local food on the way. We ended up in Prien am Chiemsee in the end. Read more for all posts and photos from that trip. [...] -
Prague from the Petřín Lookout Tower
Petřín Tower is very compact, and it’s pretty easy to take the stairs to the top and back . If the weather is clear you can see the whole Prague underneath. And the view is definitely worth it. Petřín Tower is famous for it’s resemblance with the Eiffel Tower, but it definitely has it's own character. [...] -
Aran Islands
This time we spent 3 days on Inis Mór in Kilmurvey b&b, had the best Irish stew every day. Also walked to Dún Aonghasa in the evening and caught a beautiful sunset. There was no one on the cliffs in that time, the wind was strong and the waves were high as never. [...] -
Abandoned Cork
If you go up the Barrack street in direction of the Bandon road you will find yourself in the area of empty shops, closed bars, abandoned takeaways. You can see, that some time ago this area was full of life. [...] -

House of Waterford Crystal
Since I haven’t posted a lot lately I have loads of photos saved, so they should cover my blog posts for the next few months at least! ) I will start with few photos from Waterford where I visited the House of Waterford Crystal. I’ve been there a couple of weeks ago, stopped by out of curiosity and literally couldn’t make myself leave the showroom. A camera plus a room full of crystal is a deadly combination. There are so many photo opportunities, I could spend there the whole day and wouldn’t even notice the time passing by. The crystal … Continue reading
Aran islands on Instagram
It will be an big post where I wanted to gather in one place all Instagram photos that I took during my 4 days vacation on Aran Islands this October. I know that some of you will hate me (hey, Charles), but please bear with me ) I had a great time there and without a doubt will go there again. It was nice to spend more than two days on Inis Mór, I could see the whole island with no rush, watch the sunrise and the sunset from Dún Aonghasa, take photos of the waves and much more. Loved … Continue reading
Cloon Lough in County Kerry at dawn
Yesterday had an awesome day in Kerry taking photos of Cloon Lough. Had to wake up at 4am because of that, but that was totally worth it! I wish it wasn’t so cold and wet though and we could climb the hills around and take some photos from above. To be honest it was a bit tricky even to get close to the lake, the ground was all swampy. The sunrise was hidden behind the hills but it colored the sky in blue and violet and it was very beautiful. Have like 10 photos of the same place and all … Continue reading
Medieval festival in Youghal 2012
I really like Youghal, I like the smell of the ocean in the air, I like the seafood in the restaurants there and I like walking on the beach there. So when I knew that there will be a medieval festival in Youghal I definitely decided to go. It was pretty great, the festival wasn’t too big around 20-30 tents with festival food, crafts and medieval ammunition. Some people were dressed in chainmails and medieval dresses, children were playing with bows and arrows and had a chance to paint up a personal shield for themselves. There were some activities as … Continue reading
More photos from Cliffs of Moher
Even though I’ve been to Cliffs of Moher a couple of times in the past, I never went to O’Brien’s Tower for some reason. It’s just when you enter the gates you can climb left and right and I always chose the left path. I goes far away, you can climb over the fence there and sit on the edge of the cliffs thinking of eternity. The right path is not so long, it ends on top of the cliff where the round tower stands. This time we actually went there, even though it was incredibly windy. There is a … Continue reading
