Cork walking routes – Middle Glanmire road

Last weekend the weather was good and we decided to explore the new walking routes. So we went in the direction of the Cork port but used the roads on the hill, and that’s how we found the Middle Glanmire road. It turned out to be pretty scenic, the houses there are surrounded by green trees and gardens, and sometimes you can find a good view on the city and Cork port from there.

I guess it’s nice to live there – not that far away from the city center, but it’s very quoet there, no car noise or drunk people getting home from a pub at night )

On the way I saw some nice hotels or b&bs, so that area can definitely be great at least for a short stay, you might need a car though to get around, didn’t see much busses there at all.

“new” walking routes? is this something they just set up? I like the look of the house in the last pic.

Nah I meant new for us, haven’t been to that part of the town yet. I liked that house a lot as well, there was a big garden around it and I think the view from the bedroom on the second floor is amazing )
