Spring in Cork, 2012

It’s hard to describe the weather in Ireland. We’ve had quiet a lot of sunny days lately, and it looks like spring has come at last, but the sun is not that warm (yet?) and it’s colder than in winter outside. By the way, yesterday it was hailing, just out of nowhere the sky turned grey and pieces of ice started falling from above. After 10-15 minutes it was clear and blue again.

So anyway, we took a walk around Cork 2 weeks ago, I wanted to find some picturesque walls for the photo shoot that we’ve been planning. I took few photos of them as well, will post them later.

We walked in the direction of the Lough park, it was pretty much the same area as the one I took the “abandoned Cork” photos, so I was hoping to find some nice graffiti walls, or walls made of stone (which I found).

Smth like that, it’s an area with a lot of closed down shops and abandoned buildings, so it’s not that unusual.
