Evening view over Paris from the Eiffel Tower

It took me some time to start posting the Paris photos, but I’m doing it now. I will start with the evening photos I took from the Eiffel tower.

The timing was pretty extreme, we decided to climb the Eiffel tower the same day we arrived to Paris, and of course we didn’t buy the tickets in advance, so we almost missed a very beautiful sunset. But we made it) I carried my tripod specifically for that (I could say it was the reason why I didn’t take the stairs up, but it wasn’t :)

The sky was changing every minute from bright blue to pink and purple to dark blue and black at night. It was very beautiful, and totally worth it!

    Nice :) I hate take aerial photos of Paris though – the air quality and light pollution is so crappy – everything has either a grey or orange tinge in day time, or a blue or orange tinge in night time :(

    I guess they use a lot of orange lights in Paris – I don’t notice this problem so much in other cities to be honest.

      Hm, I didn’t notice a lot of orange lights in Paris to be honest, but comparing to Cork nothing looks as orange at night anyway)

      I really liked the view over Paris, this violet shade in the evening is so beautiful…

    Like the top photo the most for some reason) Maybe the perfect light trails from traffic have something to do with the that, like it very much anyways, looks very crisp and bright and pretty busy. I never visited Paris somehow, should definitely do this and try not to forget my tripod in a hotel every day as I normally do when I’m travelling))

      Thank you, Jainny ) The first one is my favourite as well. The lighting was changing every minute, all the shots I’ve taken were different in one way or another. You should definitely go to Paris, it’s an amazing city and it’s just perfect for the shots.

      About the tripod – I took it deliberately to take some night photos, you should plan something like that and you won’t forget it) It kept me going when I was carrying that heavy stuff all the time )
