Glass Christmas decorations in Cologne

I already posted few photos of the glass decorations on the Christmas market in Cologne, but now I found a photo of a man who was making them right on the market. It’s a very exciting process, to see how something that beautiful is created.

Surprisingly, I din’t find that huge variety of Christmas decorations in Cologne that I saw in Munich or Berlin in previous years. I wonder if it’s a regional thing, in Cologne markets are full of food and crafts, a lot of crafted things made of wool, leather, paper. You can easily buy a wallet, belt, bag, scarf or even a table cloth there – everything is really beautiful. On the last day of the market most of the sellers make discounts by the way, which is cool )

I love that one in the background in the last pic – looking like an icicle, right? Looks like the guy in the first pic is giving you the evil eye, lol :D

Well, if he didn’t want anyone to take a photo of him he wouldn’t make his decorations in the middle of the Christmas market!

Yup, it’s an icicle made of glass, it looked great indeed )
