Dublin from St. James’s Gate brewery

It rains every time when i go to Dublin. I got used to it, once I got caught in such a heavy rain that I was literally swimming on O’Connell street trying to find a hotel.

This time was different though, I saw Dublin covered in the morning fog from the top of St. James’s Gate brewery and I liked it much more this way. Fog somehow seems very natural in Dublin, it makes this gothic impression more intense.

I have a very strong impression, that Dublin is lost in the 19th century, and modern changes don’t have any place there. For me Dublin is a place, where people should be dressed like that while walking along Sackville street:

For safety reasons, wouldn’t it make more sense to start the tour at the top, so at least if you get too drunk and fall over places you’ll do it at ground-level? :D

They have an elevator that you can take if you feel that stairs is not for you after some time. But I think that they should start getting ppl drunk closer to the top a bit. Now the first samples you can get on one of the first floors )
