Heritage office on Aran islands

It took me some time to get this picture. It was after we climbed down from Dún Aonghasa and stopped by the heritage office at the bottom of the hill. I wanted to use the filter that makes stars of all sources of light in the picture, and I used the slow exposure. You can see the moon, it was about the same time I took these pictures of it. Also you can see a cat! He is sitting on the doorstep, he was very friendly, totally white with the black back – a hostess in our b&b said, that he has a black back because he likes to crawl in coal, so he is naturally fully white)

… couldn’t you have just used a small aperture, say f16? That would have made nice stars too :D

I need to check but i used smth around f12 – couldnt afford more, didnt want to increase the iso. With exposure more than 30 secs the moon wasnt that contrast.
